O'Brien is a long-standing statesperson within Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander education. She has lived and worked within Aboriginal
education systems for more than four decades, and although officially
retired, continues to be an active advocate for improving the
educational outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. To learn more click here
