Dare to Lead established a partnership with the Dusseldorp Skills Forum
during late 2006 to jointly develop a toolkit of resources, which aims
to develop and enhance the professional relationship between a
principal and the school's Indigenous Education Worker.
During the
development of the project, some 200 participants (principals and IEWs)
participated in workshops in each state and territory to trial
materials and test models of professional development.
In July 2007,
this "Same Kids, Same Goals" project launched its [unrecognized tag: {LINK
http://samekidssamegoals.dsf.org.au/ website}] which contains evaluation
and development materials for principals and IEWs in all schools to
use. This exciting and dynamic website with multimedia resources is a
significant addition to the resources available to schools leaders in
the area of Indigenous Education. Each Dare To Lead coalition
member will be encouraged to access the materials and State
Coordinators will be able to assist in workshop facilitation if that
model is preferred in particular clusters.
