The Australian Government has apologised to members of the Stolen Generations on February 13th, 2008 a 5 minute documentary of The Apology (a film developed by Reconciliation Australia and Indigenous Film Services) is now available to watch on YouTube. A half hour version is available free of charge through the Reconcilation Australia website.
Dennis Flannery, the then Dare to Lead ACT State Coordinator attended the Sorry Day gathering at Parliament House, he described the atmosphere as receptive, positive and optimistic for the future in recognising and acknowledging the wrongs of the past.
