The Dare to Lead project continues to be extremely active in every state and territory or Australia, across sectors and across systems. In the first half of 2010 (to the end of June) there have been 428 in-service activities nationally including 5962 particpants, plus 72 collegial snapshots in individual schools. Dare to Lead is working in partnership with a range of educational, philanthropic, community and corporate stakeholders to engineer positive changes for Indigenous students. This is happening in a multitude of contexts through the dedication and effort of school leaders across Australia. Improving educational outcomes for Indigenous young people is vital work for the future of our country, and every school leader should be able to reflect with pride on what he or she is contributing.
