Aboriginal Education policies, programs and consultative groups in Australian school sectors
We have gathered together a list of websites relating to Indigenous
education for the three schooling sectors across Australia. They are
organised under the following headings: home page, policy document and
consultative group for each of the State, Catholic and Independent
sectors. Where possible links have been included to relevant projects
or strategies. Click here for the information about New South Wales
Relating to the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and issues in the curriculum.
The first ports of call for your work in this area are the policy
which operates in your jurisdiction and the primary resources provided
for direction and support. Individual independent schools may have
their own policies related to these matters.
