
|  | Funding Sources - Scholarships Note: Scholarship information current as date of addition to page (26/7/2007).- Robert Riley Scholarships: The Robert Riley Scholarshop Program aims to promote the pursuit of justice and human rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through supporting education of young Indigenous People. Up to four scholarships of $5000 each will be awarded to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 25 years or under for the pursuit of studies in the fields of law, legal practice, human rights, child protection, criminology and criminal or juvinile justice. - Indigenous Small Grants: Indigenous Small Grants provide funding to organisations that work with young Indigenous people and communities to develop new initiatives as well as the explansion of existing successful initiatives. See the website for application dates.

- The University of South Australia Gavin Wanganeen Indigenous Scholarship will be awarded for the first time in 2005 and while Wanganeen did not attend university himself, he is keen to promote the opportunity for this generation of students. The university said the Gavin Wanganeen Indigenous Scholarship was valued at $5000 a year and would be offered to Indigenous students who could show they had the will to succeed but not the resources to attend university. - Trinity Grammar School, in conjunction with the University of Melbourne and Methodist Ladies College, offers full scholarships to year 11 and 12 Indigenous students to complete their secondary schooling before they begin their studies at Melbourne University.(Click here for details)
- Tabor Adelaide expects to be able to offer some HECS-HELP places in our Bachelor of Education program for Indigenous students. All programs are obviously approved for Abstudy and are government accredited. Click herefor details.)
- University of Adelaide Indigenous Student Postgraduate Research Scholarships Up to two postgraduate research scolarships will be offered annually for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Value: $25,616 per annum for up to 3 years. See the Flyer for Eligibility.
- Yalari are offering Scholarships for Remote Indigenous students whom demonstrate a commitment to complete Year 12. See the website for application forms and further details.

Applications Now Open for the Indigenous Tertiary Scholarships 2008
The Indigenous Youth Leadership Programme (IYLP) provides scholarships and leadership opportunities targeting young Indigenous Australiana from non-metropolitan areas studying at a tertiary level.
Applications are now open and close 3 December 2007
